Hey, dozens. Please join me and my family in welcoming Maximilian Francis Burks to the world! Baby Max and his mom are doing very well. He has some extremely enthusiastic older brothers who can’t wait to touch him everywhere, ask questions about every movement he makes, and contemplate what in the world an umbilical cord is.
It’s the one of the most significant graces that a person can receive—to welcome a child into this world. To hold a little one, completely dependent on you for everything, for whom you would do anything, and realize this is a but a sign of the Father’s love for me is humbling. The Lord called me into this vocation, though, knowing I would need those significant reminders through life.
Please pray for Max, his mom, and our family as we transition into new roles (and less sleep). Cheers!
